Keep Your Crystals Cleansed, Charged and Happy!

You can charge your crystals by letting them bathe in Sunlight or Moonlight. Use sunlight for masculine and moonlight to restore feminine energy. (This does not cleanse them - contrary to some beliefs)
Crystals and minerals love to be cleansed and charged in the sun, but there are crystals you should avoid placing in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time to ensure that their color will not fade. (Amethyst, Ametrine, Apophyllite Green, Aquamarine, Auralite23, Celestite, Citrine, Fluorite, Hiddenite, Kunzite, Opal, Rose Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Spirit Quartz, Super Seven Quartz, Topaz, and Turquoise.)

Placing your crystals and minerals in natural earth (dirt), rice, or sand will ground and balance their masculine and feminine energies.

Letting your crystals (only quartzes) soak in a natural body of water (ideal), sea salt/Himalayan water, or running them under purified water helps clear-trapped negative energies.
Although running crystals and minerals underwater is a great way to clear trapped negative energy, some minerals should avoid water because of their softness regarding the Mohs scale to prevent damage. (Desert Rose, Angelite, Azurite, Chalcopyrite, Hematite, Kyanite, Kunzite, Malachite, Selenite, and Turquoise.)

Smudging with Sage is an incredible and preferred way to clear negative energies and to cleanse your crystals.
Sage is a masculine energy. Sage kills airborne bacteria by 94%

Smudging with Palo Santo clears negative and positive energy, neutralizing a crystal or object.

Smudging with Sweet Grass clears negative energy and brings sweetness and joy to the crystal/mineral, person or space.

When smudging the crystal, mineral, or object is cleared when it is engulfed in smoke.

Envision light illuminating from the center of the crystal to the exterior while embodying the emotion of LOVE, can clear your crystal! This is called Light Clearing – It does take practice. When using this clearing method, you will know the crystal is completely purified when you feel purified and full of love and bliss.

An Introspective Guide to Choosing the Right Crystal For You

How do you know which crystal is right for you?
How do you pick out one of the many before you?

Most people look with only their eyes to buy crystals or minerals. Yet remember this urges one to pick what is more pleasing for themselves; whether it is shinier, prettier etc.

The famous quote "You can never tell a book by its cover,” by Edwin Rolfe runs through my mind when choosing a crystal or anything in life.

In crystal healing it is not what you want but what you need. When choosing a crystal or mineral... FEEL... don’t look for what you want but rather let the crystal come to you.

If a crystal feels too heavy (as if there is an invisible cord tethering it to its place) or it feels uncomfortable immediately put it down. You already know it’s not for you and as you study it thoughts about how you love the look of the crystal runs through your head. Which compelled you to pick it up in the first place. It’s okay we crystal lovers have all been there. Don’t believe me try it for yourself. It will be proven time and time again.

Crystals and minerals come to you for a reason whether you believe in crystal healing or not. Think about how old that crystal or mineral is, the history it has seen, the energy of the forces that shaped it and out of the many this particular one came to you. It is absolutely amazing to think that this one particular crystal or mineral’s journey was to make it to you... Appreciate it! Love it!

So when choosing a crystal pick a couple or two you feel drawn to. If you are having trouble choosing.

While holding one close your eyes... and take a deep breath to clear you mind. This may take a couple deep breathes to do so.

All doubts aside, open your heart. For crystals and minerals are the loving energy of the Earth and are in fact the Earth’s DNA.

I assure you within a couple deep breaths and holding the crystal you will know which one is for you.

If you feel happy, light and is taken to a deep calm and meditative state or can immediately feel the energy pulsing through you... Congratulations you have found the crystal for you!
If you feel uncomfortable, off balanced. Then choose another. Don’t get distraught! The one for you is probably right beside you or the first one you picked up but decided to look for another that caught your eye.

You can also muscle test!
When choosing a crystal hold it within your non-dominant hand. Take four circular deep connected breathes until you are centered. Then while continuing to breathe with the crystal, become aware of your body. Do you move forward, backward, or side-to-side?

If you move forward, congratulations, this is the crystal for you!
If you move backward, this is not the crystal for you.
If you move side to side this is the right type of crystal but not the right one. Choose another of the same type.

So remember Crystal Lovers…“In Crystal Healing it is not what you want but what you need!”

Crystals from Ex-Partners/Friends

Many times we are gifted crystals from our exes and friends who are no longer in our lives. Individuals might impulsively gift or rid themselves of those crystals as quickly as possible. But is that healing anything? I am here to relay a friendly reminder that emotionally detaching and impulsively acting will not help you feel better; for To Feel Is To Heal. Crystals can help you understand the many subtle facets of any situation or relationship when combined with reflection.

So don’t gift them away, at first reaction. These crystals were given to you out of the kindness of their heart, with love, and good intent.

Even if you are holding onto a crystal/mineral that is theirs, treat those crystals and minerals with respect as well. After all it's not the crystals fault!

Remember regardless of what happened between you two, crystals can help heal you in body, mind and spirit. While learning from past experiences and integrating those new found lessons and knowledge in your life.

Tanzanite - Heat Treated For Aesthetics

Tanzanite is the gem variety of the mineral Zoisite. Tanzanite’s natural coloring is yellow, brown, green, pale blue not violet blue, which many believe.

Today, unfortunately nearly all of the gems being sold as "tanzanite" have a blue color that has been enhanced by heating at relatively low temperatures. The temperature is usually between 360-390 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. This is accepted in the trade as natural & permanent. The heat treatment transforms its original yellow, brown/green/pale blue (rare) color to the sought after Intense Violet Blue.

Note: There are very few natural blue tanzanite crystals left. These were some of the first discovered. Scientist quickly discovered by heating tanzanite it would turn the dull color into a saturated violet-electric blue.

Heat Treated Citrine - "Citremythst"

There has been a lot of talk over heat-treated amethyst “Citrine” within the metaphysical community. Many questions have surfaced such as: Does it change Amethyst’s qualities to Citrine? Does it weaken the crystal? Should I stay away from heat-treated Amethyst “Citrine”? Does it still emit energy? Etc..

I personally do not like heat treated crystals, yet I was gifted a heat-treated amethyst “Citrine” and so I knew it was time to dive into this curious crystal and explore these questions that I had been wondering myself.

I began meditating and connecting with this crystal in various locations. From my personal experiences I can definitely say yes heat treated amethyst does emit energy just at a much gentler vibration than unheated quartz. Yet has a unique properties of it’s own.

Heat Treated Amethyst affects the Sacral and Solar Plexus. It carries the energy of the sun warming up one’s life in all aspects and shines light on suppressed emotions/darkness within illuminating the root cause of ones emotional dis-ease. It teaches the beautiful lesson of perseverance and transformation just as heat-treated amethysts have gone through themselves. They emanate solar energy attracting abundance of true wealth into one’s life, to achieve inner peace within one’s individual spirituality while enhancing mental clarity and optimism.

Most heat treat crystals have names and Heat Treated Amethyst should be no exception, here is Citremythst.

It is my hope that miners will stop heating amethyst and other crystals to pass off to other sellers for profit. UCLA Researches Discover: We Have Crystals In Our Ears

We LITERALLY have crystals in our ears, necessary for proper inner ear function.

UCLA researchers have discovered that tiny crystals called otoliths—necessary parts of a properly functioning inner ear—form not as the direct result of a gene product, but rather as the result of the physical, swaying motion of hair-like cilia during development.

As adult vertebrate bodies move about, otoliths are pulled by gravity and enable the detection of movement, which is vital for maintaining balance.

The researchers studied these crystals in fish embryos, where they accumulate as gelatinous proteins mixed with calcium carbonate. When fully and properly formed, the crystals lie atop sensitive beds of cilia, which are fine, hair-like cellular extensions that are responsible for translating roll, pitch, and yaw information from the semicircular canals of vertebrates’ ears.

Amber An Ancient Cure For Pain

For thousands of years, humans in tune with the crystal kingdom have used Amber as a treatment for pain. The most common use is to reduce teething pain in babies and toddlers. At this point, there is no scientific evidence that amber reduces pain yet there is a theory that explains how amber works.

Baltic Amber contains succinic acid, a pain-relieving substance. When Amber comes in contact with human skin, the heat causes succinic acid to be released. It is absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream. This process stimulates the thyroid gland to increase drooling and reducing inflammation in the ears, throat, stomach and respiratory system.

Succinic acid derives its name from Latin succinum, meaning amber. Succinic acid is naturally found in the human body. It is found in living organisms’ mitochondria. Succinic acid is an integral part of Cellular Metabolism and the all-important Krebs Cycle. The Krebs cycle occurs in the matrix of the mitochondria and generates a pool of chemical energy (ATP, NADH, and FADH2). Without Succinic acid living organisms would not be able to function properly or have the energy to thrive.

There are are some who say succinic acid cannot be released from Amber via body temperature. But there are many variables that have not been included in these “studies” that can contribute to the findings such as sun exposure, a persons natural skin oil, or precious metal like gold surrounding the amber (as traditionally worn in ancient times).

Although this has not been proven there are many theories for those with the skills and drive to prove this and more.

How To Make Healing Crystalline Structured Water

As we know from Dr. Masuru Emoto's scientific studies, water absorbs all emotions/frequencies. When we intentionally program the water with affirmations and love, beautiful crystals form when frozen.

As we are 80% water it is essential to be mindful of what we listen to and speak into existence,
as each word and frequecy vibrational effects the molecular structure of our being.

Knowing this we can create Crystallized Structured Water to heal our dis-eases, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

What is Structured Water?
Structured Water is the water in our body! Structured Water is water that is composed of hexagonal sheets of water molecules dissociated within an adequately designed vortex. This disassociation breaks up the once uniform water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. As the hexagonal layers grow from the inside out from the created vortex, protons are ejected into the surrounding water. Shungite is a rare carbon silicate mineral that is 2 billion years old. It is only found in a lake in northern Russia. Shungite was once Prokaryotes (single celled organisms). It then decomposed into a type of petroleum, which later decomposed into a rare isotope of Carbon, Carbon-60.

Shungite contains fullerene. Fullerene is an allotrope of Carbon. It is the link between inorganic and organic matter.
